Madellen and I made this on Saturday night. The cake part is called "Pavlova", a traditional Australian dessert, named after one of their ballerinas. Madellen made up a "Binoffi Pavlova" recipe. We bought the pavlova at the store (comes in box, pre-made), made carmel with a can of sweetened condensed milk, added King's something-or-other cream and sliced bananas and strawberries. Instant diabetes. We were quite proud.
