Jami is BC’s Family Adventure Blogger who focuses on Eco-Tourism and Education. You will regularly see her writing stories about solo and family adventures as well as featuring Inspirational stories of other adventurers. When she’s not writing, you’ll find her hiking, biking or boarding often with her children by her side. Her passion for the outdoors and her willingness to try new things quickly garnered her a following. Parents have enjoyed checking in on what Jami’s family is up to when planning a new outing or looking for inspiration and education.
Jami’s always been an advocate for the environment and is excited to have the platform to help educate children and parents about the importance of protecting the environment. “We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children” – Ancient Indian Proverb. Jami teaches simple and practical ways for parents to demonstrate environmental stewardship in an effort to raise little earth rangers.
Another major focus on the blog is about the importance of outdoor recreation, both as an individual and as a family. Whether it’s dashing through mud at an obstacle race or running an adventure race, Jami believes in lifelong learning and constantly challenging herself. Her stories share triumphs and challenges from the starting line to the finish.
