Unknown Europe

CZECH REPUBLIC | Tuesday, 13 May 2014 | Views [119] | Scholarship Entry

That day our plane landed on the Czech ground. This exciting feeling of the touching something unknown pursued me after my journey to Turkey. Czech Republic saluted us with famous beer. For me as a citizen of Kazakhstan, Czech beer was a revelation. Sitting in the square of Staromest surrounded by the majestic building of the past, I was taken into the atmosphere of the period of European power rising: rise of the culture, rise of the art, rise of the traditions. I forgot to mention that we landed in Prague, the city-millionaire each year facing new flows of tourists. There are many things everyone should see. First of all, it is obviously historical legacy of architecture. My sister was guiding me telling interesting facts about those buildings and she couldn't stop introducing us more interesting stories simply because of the numerous quantity of them. To say, Prague is the owner of the largest castle in the world. To face the scale of the tourists flow, we went to the Carl bridge, whish is similar to Babylon Tower for holding so many people of different nationalities together. It was interesting to have a talk with some of them, to share positive emotions of so far seen. There are always street musicians or artists making Carl bridge shine bright. Another, palce every tourist has to see is Vaclav Square. It is the union of cafes, restaurants, various shops, casino, museum. I practised my Italian in Italian cafe, spoke a little bit Czech when we were doing shopping. People are smiling to each other, having fun and good mood with the warm weather. That day seemed for me short because we did not cathch up with our program of sightseeing-there were so many things we did not reach. I was upset for that, for the rest, I was verry happy and felt unreal excitement of what we made that day. My sister joked there would not be anything new for me in two days, so much I was approahching to visit. Even though we were completely exhausted, I enjoyed that fatigue of pleasure. I asked my sister, who travelled a lot, whether other countries of Europe would interest me so much as Prague did. She replied that every city is attractive with its own exclusiveness. And I made promise myself that I would visit the rest of Europe one day. In the beginning it seemed quite hard to write 2500 words, for now I see that this limit is too low to express all of the emotions I gained that day. Meeting with the new sometimes makes us a little bit talkative, isn't it? : )
