These pictures are of the beautiful valleys of Pakistan. They show a side of Pakistan only a few have seen. Pakistan is a country constantly shrouded by negativity and it hurts me deeply that the world only gets to see the side of Pakistan that is aired on news channels and reports. Yes we are a country in great peril and wait for our great revolution but that does not mean we have nothing to offer the world. We are a country blessed with not just beautiful scenery but also beautiful people. A place where people would give their all to make sure visitors are happy and enjoy their time in their lands. We are a people who take great pride in our lands and everything it has to offer us. My pictures are of my recent visit to the heart of my country (Pakistan). They show Pakistan for what it really is. While I was there I honestly felt that this is how Heaven must look and the people seemed like they were Gods special people; the kindest and most helpful as well as simple and content with their lives. I hope to show the world the real Pakistan, the one that is not populated by guns, bombs and terrorist but one that is populated by the purest of heart. Yes we have negativity but which country doesn't? It is sad that no one bothers with the positivity our beautiful country has to offer. Local TV channels and others know that their ratings thrive on negativity and that is all they focus on.

My name is Adrian J. Permal and I am a Pakistani. I hope to show you and the world that my country is a gift from God to humanity, its lush green fields, valleys and mountains speak for themselves in my pictures. I aim to enter in your competition not to win but simple to show you and the world what my country has to offer with the hope that you will show others as well :)
