Sharing the World

My Scholarship entry - Madeira

Portugal | Friday, January 11, 2013 | 5 photos

Portuguese, 24, computer science engineer and entrepreneur. At least this is what my curriculum says about me.

What I really am, is an observer. There's a thought in my mind: what one sees can't possibly be seen by most of the world. The world is just too big and, most importantly, immensely rich.

Every where I go I get immersed in the culture and landscape. That is what lead me into getting my first camera. Ever since, whenever I see something of interest I have keep if from being lost in time.

This scholarship represents for me the opportunity I never saw around the corner. I've always dreamt of going through the world and share it's wonders. Going on this trip to Oman with a renowned photographer for National Geographic, that is the best setting for an aspiring photographer I can imagine.

I think my skill set and desire to share the world are a good match for this quest to Oman. I hope I can be part of this adventure.

About adrianomartins

In its area of 8 hundred square kilometres, Madeira has over 100 tunnels. Together with the highways it results in a massive 140km network with a cost of 1814,6 million euros. This investment came manly from European funds, and has naturally cause many polemic discussions about the management of such funds.
