My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

My name is Adam Passingham, 21 years old, I am a Landscape Photographer. I've been taking photographs as a hobby since I was 13 years old, everything I know has been self taught and kept my passion alive through the love of capturing photographs for the world to see.

Personally landscape photography means adventure and exploration, being able to find new ways to look at things, and finding that perfect place which makes you stop and take everything in.

Winning this competition would mean everything to me, being able to travel further away than what public transportation can take me (and the occasional trips to the Peak District), and what a place it would be, Greenland is such a beautiful place. Also being able to spend time with a professional photographer that works with Nation Geographic, having all that experience to learn from just blows my mind.

If successful with this competition, I hope this chance to work with Jason Edwards will push my photography skills to a point where I can become a professional photographer. My dream job. Doing something that you would otherwise do for fun, having that hobby then become a career, a dream come true.
