Our first day in Hanoi! last night we walked around a little near hoam kiem lake but today we went west of it to packed streets that we imagine are quintessential Hanoi-women carrying around produce, street food, tons of honking. We did some shopping and by wandering through the streets we found a food market with a lot of things we couldnt identify with our eyes or noses. A woman practically forced her baskets on simi and me for a photo and then tried to haggle with us over price-it was intense.
