Life has been driving me into photography in a great way during the last 7 years. I have been doing things to let me flow into it too: I quit my career as industrial designer, I moved to another country willing to re-create myself, to do what I really wanted.
Since then, I have been discovering myself and the world that surrounds me through the camera. And is the camera, and the magical power of creating images, that feed my daily life now.
When everything first started, I was more into architectural and still life imagery, and I was afraid about photographing people. Now, I cannot conceive photography without a human being trace. Documentary and social subjects are now guiding this passion.
I have been knocking on doors with my work. During this time I have earned personal trust, being aware now about my potential and disposition in front of photography. I also know that is such a hard field where just those truly passionate about photography can achieve what they pursue.
This scholarship and what this priceless experience could give to the selected one, would represent a huge step in my career, a kind of springboard to the process of becoming a professional photographer.
