Capture - Thailand

Hello! I'm Abby from Manila, Philippines. I have been working as a freelance video editor and being in the film industry for a little over two years have taught me to have a sharp eye for strong images that would make "the cut". I have a particular love for travel and underwater videography --- a skill I have yet to improve with more traveling and more storytelling. This trip to Thailand with my best friends has been an eye opening experience. I have never been more involved in learning about one's culture by immersing myself right at the middle of it with a DSLR and capturing small moments and details that only make up a tiny fraction of Thailand's complex culture. The best part is watching our trip and recreate that feeling through this video. Extending that kind of feeling and experience to others with it is another amazing bonus as well! Coming from an editor's background, I believe I have developed a skill in storytelling and which I can truly improve upon as a filmmaker under the guidance of a true film mentor. I am willing to step out of my comfort zone, heck even dive into the wild adventure if it gets me to capture the perfect shot! If given this amazing opportunity, I will pull all the stops to learn and absorb every little thing this trip has to offer. Aside from my developing film background, I am driven, adventurous, highly amusing, and least demanding. I also pack very light and easy to hang around with. :)
