I am a full-time nurse, part-time beach bum with a serious case of wanderlust. I am an aspiring photographer, and one look at the photographs of Greenland, inspires me to continue with the things I love most - exploring new places and taking photos to capture the heart and soul of the land (and its waters, of course). I can't help but give this a shot. Greenland, with its majestic peaks and picturesque landscapes, would call out to any traveler. Everything about it seems intriguing, a quiet but epic beauty, since it is not your typical tourist trap. But aside from the destination, I would love to be chosen for this scholarship so I can have the opportunity to study under the best. I wish learn more techniques and improve my photography skills under Mr. Edwards' tutelage. If I were chosen, I would definitely give this assignment my all, not just because its a once-in-a-lifetime chance at working with an expert, but also because Greenland's nature demands some serious attention from my camera lens.
