My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

Worldwide | Monday, August 9, 2010 | 5 photos

Hello my name is Shannon Beau Napier and I want to be a photographer. I am currently studying photography as my major at UniSA as apart of a Bachelor of Visual Arts Specialisation.
I enjoy pushing myself out of my comfort zone whether its taking photos of landscape to portraiture to macro. Finding an image that hasn't been replicated a thousand times over and giving it my own take is something I highly enjoy and then tweaking it in Photoshop to gain the level of intensity I need finishes it off.
Im only new to photography so am teaching myself the different manual functions and all there abilities which while I personally find this difficult, I find it even more rewarding when i can say what f.stop I used combined with ISO and shutter speed to create an image.
These photos that I am displaying were taken around Oodnadatta and Allandale Station in South Australia. Taken this year in July, I enjoyed harnessing the beauty of the land and composing it in my shots to show the world how stunning the arid Australian country is.
