My name is Louvier, and I am a senior student at San Francisco State University. Last year, my whole life changed when I went to study abroad in Hong Kong. I was fortunate to travel to many surrounding places, including Vietnam. I met relatives unknown to me in my childhood and developed deep and stable relationships. I saw things so differently, causing me to appreciate the things I never knew I missed from home, but congruently saw the ways I could improve my lifestyle by learning from other cultures.

I am a worthy candidate, due to my familiarity with the best parts of traveling and the parts that were not so pleasant. Through spontaneous situations, I am adaptable and can handle situations in all its raw glory. In addition, I am a determined worker, who will get up at the crack of dawn and sleep only when all the work has been finished. Lastly, I love stories. Stories are composed of all the moments that have happened, that will happen, and that will never happen. Photography tells a great deal about the subject. Although my storytelling has only exists via disposable cameras, I can only imagine what kind of stories I can tell with a plethora of knowledge and guidance.
