Knitting boys on Taquile - mixture of traditional and modern. There are 3 rules on Taquile - don't steal, don't lie and don't be lazy. So women wave, but man knit (because it's easier than waving). Many tourists visiting the island are told about the traditional customs and offered to buy the knitwear although not all locals wear the traditional clothing. It's a stick with two ends - differences make travelling more interesting, but everyone on Earth must also have equal oportunities and comfort.
