Tuesday 8th September
Casablanca
Another long drive, this time from Essaouira to Casablanca. Along the way we stopped for lunch in a pretty fishing village on the coast – fab seafood again. We arrived in Casablanca late in the afternoon and were presently surprised to find that we were booked into Casablanca's most fancy-schmancy hotel. A nice way to finish of our trip to Morocco. We took Mohammad out for dinner to say thanks for the great time we had on the trip and he suggested a very good Moroccan restaurant which had the required belly dancer to help the food go down. Yes, even the staunch Islamic centres have the other side to their lives!
