Chinatown in KL

PAPUA NEW GUINEA | Tuesday, 5 June 2012 | Views [489]

Our first full day here. After a delicious breakfast of everything you could think of from everywhere in the world we decided to head to the laundry and do our washing. 6ringitt a load  and 6 ringitt to dry and it was all done in 45mins. We came back for a swim and then headed off to catch the monorail to China town where the markets are. I think I actually preferred Phuket markets. The prices were higher here and the sellers more pushy and it wasn't as clean. It was very crowded and hot and we eventually found a nice clean hotel and had a drink and something to eat. You definitely wouldn't eat at the market.

We caught the monorail back and had a nice Italian meal of pizza and pasta in the shopping centre before coming back to the hotel and sitting in the bar for a while.
