My Scholarship entry - Fishing
Portugal | Monday, November 24, 2014 | 5 photos
Since I can remember I’ve always loved to take photos and review them. In my adolescence I attended a course about life in the ocean, we took photos of shells and learned to reveal them Those 2 days taking photos and revealing them were amazing and I was so proud of what I had learned. I don’t know exactly why I didn’t continue to learn more about photographie, but I’ve never forgotten the impact it had on me. 2 years ago I attended a digital course and from that moment I haven’t stopped taking photos. I always have my camera when I travel and share experiences with a goup of friends that also love photographie.
What I love about photographie is its power to awake emotions. A photo of a person, a place, an animal, we always react to what we see. When I take a photo I'm concerned about technical aspects, but also about what I'm going to capture- a moment. A photo give us the possibility of capturing what we are viewing and share it with the world. What is potrayed on a photo stays there for ever, is eternal and powerful. A photo is the past, present and makes us think about the future. Sometimes very frustrating but most of the times very rewarding.
Sincerely,
Mónica Pinho
