My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Wendy is the name my parents gave me more than 24 years ago. I love these name more, when I realized how much I have in common with the character for who this name is created by J.M. Barrie, the inventor of Peter Pan and Neverland. Wendy Darling is a young woman, with a big sense of adventure, but also someone who cares about others.
Since I am 16 years old, I travel (sometimes on my own) in whole the world. I also studied different things, because I am so curious; I've a degree in geography, economics and film.
What I look in an image or film, are the different colors of a prism than what the media shows us.
In a shot I will not only look for the unique, the distinctive aspect, but want to find a story that says “we” -and not "I and the other"- have the same troubles, tears, love, desires...
Visuals are rather than text so powerful tool, because we live in the new world where people watch more youtube videos and share instagram pictures. I want to explore photography more to tell and inspire. It looks a nice way of living: to find connecting images.
At the moment I am graduated and live with my granny in Belgian countryside, and do some voluntary video projects.
