A family celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi Festival at Chowpatty Beach, Mumbai. During this celebration, many religous rituals are performed. This includes offerings of food, flowers and coconuts to the statues of Lord Ganesh. The most colorful offering is that of red powder. While people offer the red powder to the Ganesh statues, they also throw it on people as well.
