Travel Insurance Claims - True Stories Just some of the weird and wonderful things that happen to World Nomads travellers while on the road

Family Always Comes First

UGANDA | Thursday, 4 June 2009 | Views [1356]

I was supposed to go on a two month trip to visit 10 countries throughout Africa. My first stop was Uganda, and on my 4th day there I got a call from my mother to tell me that my step father had collapsed from a heart attack and doctors predicted he only had 2 weeks to live.

How World Nomads Helped

Not only did WN pay for my plane ticket home, but they also reimbursed me for my Kumuka tour, my Gorilla tour, and lodging for the duration of my trip.

Paid $4969.73
