500grams bacon rashes
one medium onion
1 pkt elbow macaroni (pasta)
Salt to taste
3 tomato blanched and skinned
1 tsp. pepper ( as per taste)
1 tsp . chilli pwd
Garlic paste.

How to prepare this recipe
In a deep bottom dish, chop an onion and fry in a little oil till glassy and brown. Puree the tomatoes and add the puree along with the cut bacon rashes.
In a pr. cooker, put lamb, pepper, garlic and little water and cook till tender.
Add the meat to the tomato mix n add chilli pwd. let it cook and if needed add a little water for a thick-ish curry. Let it all cook until all the flavor of the bacon and puree get into the meat. When you see the oil surface...put in the boiled pasta and stir well and put off the fire.

Eat hot on it's own or with garlic bread.

It is supppppeerrrrr yummmy...add as much bacon as you like but watch the salt..

The story behind this recipe
This is my family recepie that was often made of occasions in my family i.e. for a b'day and especially mine. I would always ask my mum to make extra and then eat it for breakfast lunch and dinner the next day.
Growing up having bacon in my house was only seen on X'mas day or Easter....it wasn't bought often due to the expense, so this dish always had a special place coz my entire family loved it and we'd wait for a b'day just to get a chance to say we'd like to have it for dinner. Brings a smile today to my face...coz now when i can make it often...there's no family left to enjoy it. :( :(..nonetheless...that always has special memories.
