Morocco | Friday, November 14, 2014 | 5 photos

My name is Lourdes Barragán Llorens was born in Spain in 1984. I got a degree on Audiovisual Communication at King Juan Carlos University, Madrid, and I completed my studies with an MA on Creative Documentary at King Juan Carlos University.

My restless character and eagerness to meet new cultures and different ways of working took to Argentina in 2008 to study Social Documentary at the Buenos Aires Film Observatory. In Buenos Aires, I made my first documentary short film, “El Ceibo”. My work was awarded the best short documentary film at the Octubre Corto Festival in La Rioja, 2008.

In 2010, I was granted a scholarship to participate in an International Cooperation Programme in Uruguay, where I elaborated and coordinated audiovisual language radio workshops for blind teenagers.

In 2013, I travelled to Marruecos with Africa Association. I was in charge of the communication department.

Lover documentary, tireless traveler and incorrigible dreamer. I am a restless, curious, and I love photography because I can tell the stories that house looks, places, and cultures.
