My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

A year ago my family and I set out to travel the United States to explore new places, meet new people and lend a hand when we could. We started in VA made our way south to FL and have landed in AZ. After many youtube videos, my passion for photography (which began in 2011) has turned into who I was meant to be. I am a photographer and our traveling (with hopes of going international) has opened my eyes to many unknown beauties. My camera has captured our journey in a way memories could not. Not only do I take photos for my sons, I also take them for the ones who can not travel and experience these places with us. I hope to be chosen for this scholarship for 3 reasons: 1. This is an opportunity of a lifetime and I'm blowing the door wide open! 2. I am no stranger to hard work or hard play! 3. There is a difference between book knowledge and knowledge from experience; I want to learn the hard way. Bottom line is that I want this and with the desire and drive I have, I will make it to Greenland either with you all in August or another time in the future. Thank you for this opportunity.
