    This... this was one of the more beautiful moments in my life. When the moon's full in Cape Town, a lot of people like to hike Lion's Head and watch the sun set over the Atlantic, and the full moon rise opposite. I decided to hike Devil's Peak, which is 4 times as long, and I was the only one up there! A mountaintop all to myself. I was up there for hours and hours, watching the clouds roll over me, and when the sun was setting the clouds around me were glowing orange, as if I were alive in a fire. I was imagining all of the people in the city below me rushing aimlessly from point A to point B, wondering why so many can't enjoy true beauty. This was my second last night in CT, and the end of my adventure there... until next time. Views[417] My journal, my camera, and serenity; ingredients for a happy me. I wrote an unfinished poem up there (as a lot of them end up to be). That's Table Mountain in the distance, and I'm laying on top of Devil's Peak. It was really windy, so I found a little grassy nook in between some rocks, and just enjoyed the view. Views[296] There is such a large contrast between poverty and luxury in Cape Town. This was right beside downtown, just behind some colourful houses in Bo-Kaap. Views[870] The King Protea (protea cynaroides), the national flower of South Africa. The 12 Apostles mountain range. It's right beside Table Mountain. I took this photo 3 days after I arrived, and it is taken from Lion's Head mountain. It was my first hike there, and the beginning of my adventure! Views[579]
