My Scholarship entry - By the river in Huay Xai, Laos.

A nomad who loves travel and experiencing the local way of life wherever life takes me, I also try to capture and share my experiences through images and travel stories. Photography has been my favourite hobby and I am trying to evolve into a person who tells stories through photographs rather than someone who uses photographs to enhance his story. I have always believed in the saying "a picture is worth a thousand words", but it is only now that I am making my pictures do most of the talking.

In the near future, I plan to spend most of my time doing the things that I enjoy, namely, travel, photography and travel writing. I believe that this scholarship is going to do me a world of good in becomng a serious photo story teller.
