My Scholarship entry - How We Live
I have just completed my final year of secondary school in Australia. I have been fortunate enough to have a week in Melbourne on work experience with a documentary photographer. I learned a lot about my abilities as a photographer and it is definitely what I want to do as a career. It is my passion and how I connect with the world around me. Ever since I was young I always wanted to change the world, and I feel that through images and photography we can show the world what is happening and the beauty that should be saved. I have had little chance to travel but it is something I really want to do. In my photographs I have explored the ideals of personal space and the inner city life that people are after. I am very interested in documenting the world around me and taking a closer look at how the animals and the people around me interact with things in their daily life. It would be amazing to be able to go on this adventure, and I congratulate the successful applicant.
