The photos represents the simple yet content life lived by a farming family in the rural areas of Sri Lanka. Their lives lag behind in time, with no electricity, piped water or machinery. The nearest village has to be accessed through 5km of thick forest where elephant attacks are not a rarity. The children have little heard of schools. They live in tree houses/ "sky houses" to be guarded by elephant trouble. A midst all this they live happy.
