My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer who had the privilege to help those in need in Zambia, the 'Real Africa'. I had a wonderful and the extraordinary opportunity to witness Africa in it's most natural state. When I returned to the US, all of my friends and family were just amazed at my photos, repeatedly saying how majestic and mythical they are. I love photography and the photos I am submitting show the similarities between humans and animals rather it be yawning, lounging around to even picking one's nose. Even though photography is in the infancy stage of 'just a hobby', I feel that I have a different outlook on common things. Most of my friends tell me I have a unique way to looking at things. I have a lot to learn in photography but I certainly see it as a very satisfying career option or even just a very exciting and improved hobby.
