    Bosnia’s beauty is not limited to its nature but is also visible in its structures. With a Muslim population of approximately 45% the skyline is littered with minarets. One particular Mosque that stood out was the Suleimanija mosque also known as Sarena Dmazjia which is translated as the Colourful Mosque. Built in the Ottoman period the interior design certainly lives up to its name. Views[376] Our tour guide, though not his first visit to these parts of Bosnia, was still in awe of the breathtaking view from the mountains of Lukomir. Views[272] The village of Lukomir located in the Bjelasnica Mountains, the highest populated altitude in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The last few weeks of good weather are visible before the heavy snowfall arrives forcing the families to evacuate to lower ground to spend the whole of winter.
