Well for starters my birthday is on July 30 so to be chosen as the winner would be a great birthday gift. Ha ha. Okay, all jokes aside, I simply love traveling and photography. As cliche as it sounds, it truly is my passion. Unfortunately, with a full time job with the state to support my path for completing my education (Bachelors in Marketing and Photography), it is difficult to pursue photography as a full time gig. However, without any doubt or second guessing, I always make a point to travel somewhere every year. YOLO (You only live once) as they say!! So, traveling is my gift to myself and those who I inspire to travel--to get away from the norm and the daily grinds of life. Actually, LIVING isn't LIVING unless you've traveled to a destination you have never been before and I'm not necessarily just talking about national parks or monuments, but go somewhere that isn't your typical tourist destination--see the world and the hidden beauties. With the recent passing of my grandfather (April 29, 2013), I dedicate this entry to him!! I dedicate my life to always pursue my dreams, no matter where it takes me. (I love you grandpa Iggy.)
