My Scholarship entry - Dawn to Dusk: Laguna Beach

I am an aspiring wildlife photographer and writer, but I work as a business analyst during the day. I have been taking photos for years and I always try to do adventures and travel. I am an avid National Geographic follower and at times, I would document my trips with both photos and writing. I have traveled some around the world and have tried to visit as many natural parks as I am able and hike as much as legally possible, but always with both my camera and my phone camera. My favorite places to visit are places that leaves me with no phone signal - it feels more freeing. I have no formal education in photojournalism, but being taught/mentored by an NG photographer would be a dream come true.
