My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I have 29 years. I was born and grew up in the interior of Uruguay, in a rural setting. My playground was the field, the woods, a river, with a lots of pets from domestic and wild. With 23 years old i graduated in Communications, specializing in the audiovisual area. I actually work in the television, in documentary style programs, this work took me to the farthest recesses of my country and outside of it as well in areas i never thought i could visit (Congo, Antarctica, Falklands). I have always felt the need to travel. While my work has helped me in that aspect I always come home a little disappointed for not being able to capture the essence of the places I knew. I think it is a great opportunity to take an important step towards the destination I want to give my life. With this scholarship i seek training on capturing the moment, but with a longer observation time, finding a perfect moment and angle, chasing the light; achieving those "eternal" pictures, which could survive my personal experience. And it seems an unbeatable opportunity, learn all this, in a place so remote and untouched as Greenland and with tutoring of an experient photographer.
