I am aware there are many talented photographers out there, and my technical ability could definitely do with some improvement, but how many of these photographers are just as passionate about travel and exploration as they are about photography? I am an explorer first and a photographer second, as I firmly believe that to get the best shots you need to take some risks and be prepared to head off the beaten track. If it means trekking for days in tough conditions to get to a remote location with unbelievable panoramas, I thrive on the challenge. I would consider myself a pretty well travelled individual, but the opportunity to travel to Greenland fulfils every creative and exploratory desire I have ever had. I am inspired by the enormity of the natural world surrounding us, and thus the gigantic, destitute island of Greenland represents everything I have ever dreamed of. It really would be such a shame to leave remote environments undocumented, so why not let this keen adventure photographer embrace this opportunity which could lead to something amazing, and I will do all I can to return with shots that do not disappoint!
