My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

South Africa | Thursday, July 4, 2013 | 5 photos

Being a Policeman in Johannesburg South Africa is a stressful job, from Monday to Friday it is a continuous rat race from the high and lows of crime and good news and sad news as to what is happening. All week long after a working day my thoughts are...where and what am I going to photograph on my weekend off. Come the weekend and my eye is looking through my cameras viewfinder all the weeks worries disappear and my mind and soul are at peace with the world as I am now doing what I most enjoy, photography is my time to de-stress and unwind.. Having gone to this little town called Kaapsche Hoop there are a plenty of wild horses roaming the open fields, no hassles to being told what to do and how to do it, its called freedom.....Sitting on a little bus stop bench looking at the horses roaming freely is a sign to catch a new career bus or a freedom bus......Photography.
