Ramiro, 22, is looking for the best place to cross the river with his "buoy" (the inner tube of a trailer wheel). He took his young wife, 15, fishing with him for the first time. She says she has never fished this way before, given that she comes from an Andean community "we do it in a different way there".

Elsa, mother of 10, takes three of her sons and her baby daughter (on her back), to fish in a little stream with mullein. Mullein is a powerful poison that comes from the roots of the mullein plant, and when hit by a stick they let out a white liquid (the poison) which paralyzes the fish for a while so they can catch them pretty easily.
