My Scholarship entry - A Drive

I believe I should be chosen because travel photography is an area that I always wanted to do. I love the idea that you can show ones culture in an image as if you where there or that you are part of said culture. Being able to be somewhere and not go to the touristy/Americanized places but rather the villages,forest, markets, historical sites, seeing people in their everyday life, etc. and all the stuff that make it unique. Just makes me so excited to be able to have a chance of winning a scholarship like this. More importantly though being able to see a new angle of capturing images from a professional and learning to get the image that you wanted is an experience I would pay full tilt for. I am 24 yrs old, going to school and still trying to figure out how I can make travelling the world and capturing what it has to offer without robbing a make bank and making it my life career.
