My Scholarship entry - Arizona love
I photograph and learn about photography whenever i am blessed with any spare time . My kids, Fritz (4) and Vada (3) are both essential and detrimental to my growth as a photographer. Let me explain...I have virtually no spare time to pursue photography. I have an Eletrical Engineering degree from Notre Dame and, now as a stay-at-home mom, wish I could rewind the clock and have the time to pursue education in so many areas; one of those areas is photography. That is the detriment. The essential is that my children have inspired me to capture the moment. Without my role as a mommy, I would never have the will to master settings that allow me to digitally freeze their silly moves and time-stamp their shenanigans. I can't wait to spend my life learning and growing as a photographer and, hopefully, building a vast portfolio of this girl's view of my life through the lens.
