The camera has always been the empowered memory maker in my life.
Pieces of life devolved through the sights of everyday shapes, striking colours, distinctive compositions, interpreting these into my own images is my way of expressing my experiences.
Finding my place amongst constant change & communicating through this form of dialogue.
While I see images waiting to be captured and created all around me.
I lack immense knowledge of the theory.
Thus I am currently working on developing my conceptual practice.
Photographs that capture snippets of seemingly mundane moments have the power to provoke a reaction towards an audience that has become over saturated with visual imagery.
Thoughtful images hold a multi layered quality that leaves the audience with more ambiguous questions than steadfast answers.
My images are not only reflection of the world I see before me but offer commentary on y own personal sensitivities, anxieties hopes and concerns.
The interactions I witness, experience and watch from a distance shape my visual grammar.
Finding beauty in the spontaneous and the mundane.
I am on a road of discovery yet the journey is my actual destination.
