    On the way from Christchurch to Kaikoura, we stopped at this nice little beach for lunch. Views[306] I walked to the seal colony in Kaikoura. Views[332] A Maori statue in Christchurch. Views[338] I went on a wine tour near Blenheim on a cloudy day. It was lovely! Views[377] Kaikoura was beautiful. I am still amazed by the colors of the water here! Views[295]
     
    This afternoon I wandered the Christchurch botanical garden--it has a lovely rose garden! Views[297] I went to Lyttleton for the day, but wasn't allowed in this bar. Oh well. Views[272] This glacial lake has Mt. Tasman as a backdrop...and if you can see two little dots out in the middle of it, one is my head! Views[287] Anna and me sitting by the waterfront in Queenstown. Views[328] On our way down from luge-ing, Anna told me that once one of the gondola cars fell off, and everyone inside was killed. Views[370]

Views[243] Keas are quite pesky--we saw one tearing apart a car, and all these tourists were just watching! I went over to shoo it away, but a man who had been watching yelled at me, saying it was his car...oops. Views[299] We saw people from a tour bus blatantly ignore the sign and feed the Keas. Tsk tsk!     Fiordland was full of amazing mountain views. Views[292] Last night I walked partway up the hill just before sunset and had this view.     It was a misty morning when we separated the lambs from the sheep so that they could be sent to town to be sold. In exchange for a cold and windy morning, we were treated to a rainbow.
