    Though this festival comes with great happiness & fun but to some people, like Sukanta here, this festival is one of the biggest source of their income by selling balloons, whistles, toys, etc. They leave their family, their village in the whole puja session to return with money to buy happiness. Views[188] And at last the saddest part comes when people bid good-bye to the goddess by immersing her in a nearby water source. People believe that by this ritual she will return next year to protect us from all evil & darkness. Views[227] ‘Chhou Naach’ is a very famous form of dance in India. People dance & play various epics & mythological stories wearing various types of masks, ornaments & weapons in this dance. Here in a procession, a puja committee organised a ‘Chhou naach’ to entertain their viewers. That day, these dancers performed ‘Ashur Nidhan’ which shows how the goddess Durga killed evil demon ‘Mahishashur’ in heaven. Views[340] Though it is Hindu oriented, but Durga Puja is the only puja in India in which all types of people indulge in the occasion together. They gather in the ‘pandals’ i.e. the setup of the puja & enjoy the themes. Here in this pandal, the theme is ‘Amarnath Dham’ one of the most famous religious places in India.
