My Scholarship entry - Oceans

I've been in love with photography all my life, and have committed myself to it completely. I currently work for my self as a freelance photographer shooting product and food and events. I have always had a love of photographing places that are new to me, be it one city away from where I live to another country. Thanks to National Geographic I have seen places near and far and I have a very long list of places I would love to go and photograph. Why I should be chosen? Like many I can say I have the talent, I have the love and devotion. I have it all, I also have a driving force to learn as much as I can from every source possible at any given time. This opportunity is a once in a life time chance and will change any one photographers life. If it were to be me I would be more than grateful and take full advantage to be a sponge and absorb as much as possible from the mentor, the Amazon is an awe inspiring place and many will want to go, it is also a dangerous and less than comfortable place, drive and ambition and willingness can wilt pretty quickly in the humidity. I am completely realistic as to the conditions and still would be willing to go and test my will and creativity.
