My Scholarship entry - how to express life?

My name is Luís Macedo, i'm studying architecture on d'ARQ ( Department of Architecture, Coimbra, Portugal). I'm not an old fan of photography, is somehting recent. My ex-girlfriend offer me a yashica fx-3. I start taking some pictures, most of time to my friends. I like to reflect the feelings of the actions on my photos. For example, my first photographic roll is about a festival. Festival Paredes de Coura is a music festival on the mountains of Paredes de Coura. With my first instincts i try to absorve the ambient, the colour and most important the contact between the nature and the people. If you search my flickr you will understand that the world around me moves my work. I don't have a theme, i don't search for a standard, all i want to acquire with my photographic work is to capture the moment you need to describe your feelings ! Thats the way i work! With people, buildings, animals, sights.... It's all there, i just need to preserve it the best way i can.
