My Scholarship entry - Sharing the worlds beauty one click at a time

I have had a camera in my hand since I was about 6 years old. My grandmother gave me my first film camera for a present and showed me how to use it. Through out the years I have always been the one behind the camera not in front. Here at the age of 27 I now have a DSLR camera and have a dream of traveling to photograph the world with so much hope in changing lives with my photos. Possibly change the world with what I capture. I want to not just share the worlds beauty one click at a time but make a difference in this world, maybe alter the way people view the world or places and maybe even help people to start doing the right thing. Photos really are worth a million words and can say so much in such a short little time. I want my photos to be the ones that touch people's hearts and make them think/see differently. I want to impact others lives through sharing my point of view in these photos.
