My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Words cannot describe how much this opportunity would mean to me. From a young age I have been travelling; with my first long trip was at the age of 14 and driving (with my family) from Goulburn NSW to Port Douglas QLD. At the age of 18, I travelled to Europe which changed my life. At 21 I travelled Europe again – to go to the places I missed the first time. The first time I travelled I looked at the locals and the scenery. The second time I looked at the way they live and how they live. I am now currently studying Photography with The Photography Institute online. Learning through The Photography Institute online has been great but there is only so much online training can teach you. To have a mentor showing you the ways of the industry would greatly beneficial for me as an amateur photographer- especially in the field of photography I am going to make a living out of.I would love the opportunity to travel alongside one of the best travel photographers in the world. Especially to Greenland! This will be a life changing experience. It has been my dream to have one of my images placed in the National Geographic Magazine since I read my first issue in dentist waiting room.
