My Scholarship entry - The life as we don't know it

India | Sunday, November 23, 2014 | flickr photos

It took me a while to realise what do I want from my life, and the answer is as simple as - I want to be happy! And photographing while exploring the world, different cultures, and incredible landscapes is what makes me truly appreciate life. Similarly, happiness brings me sharing these experiences, stories and emotions with others.

Photography is my passion. However, my photographic skills are nowhere near professional. I need to learn, experiment, and improve not only my photographic skills, but also I want to grow as a person. And to achieve this, I need a lot of constructive criticism to help me transform my passion into a profession.
To learn from Mr Edward would be truly an honour.

I believe I have the ability to become a documentary photographer. I am hard working, ambitious, patient, and physically fit. Therefore, I am sure I can handle any tough conditions.
For example, I have been working full time while studying at the university; or I hiked to the Everest Base camp by myself, without guide or porter.

I like new challenges, which push me to go out of my comfortable zone, so then I can come back changed and feeling alive.
This scholarship would be one of them!
