My name is Lauren Ainsworth, I am a student at Green Mountain College in Vermont USA studying Anthropology and Religion. I am passionate about people, art, culture and travel. I have traveled to both Hawaii and Alaska and this winter I will be going to Morocco to study Islamic culture. I want to learn the story of humanity, a difficult quest I know. Through photography I want to hear about the journeys that people have taken, where they have lived and what they have felt. What makes us human? I am a hard worker who is creative, determined and to follow my dreams and to educate people about the things we all, as humans hold in common rather than different. I hope that I can show these similarities throughout cultures and people through my photographs and trigger the adventurer in all of us. My photographs each hold a story within them but I am interested in your story, in the things that you see. I want to learn and share my own art with others. I believe that I have the modivation, artistic skill, creative passion and intellect to pursue this experiance and learn from others.
