    A stylish veteran at Dras. The inhabitants of Dras are believed to be Indo-Aryan or Indo-Iranian or Indo-European speaking, believed to have migrated to Ladakh from central Asia. They are called Dard people. They speak Shina a Dardic language. Views[1182] An infrangible bonding; Dras is known to be the second coldest inhabited place recording a temperature below -40 degrees. This small fragile town has fragile houses with population of around 1201.
