My Scholarship entry - Waterfalls, Lakes, and Water, Oh My!

Hi, my name is Kaileigh!

I'm a 22 year old French major at a Canadian university, and I plan to become a French Immersion teacher. I just got home from a year in France where I was teaching English in a high school, but while I was there, I was lucky enough to travel to nine other countries in Europe and Northern Africa, and if I hadn't already, I fell in LOVE with travel. I'm not a big writer, but I've always used photography to document my experiences. Photography has always been what I use to express myself. I've started to do some wedding and portrait photography, but my true love is to just travel around, camera in hand, and capture life's natural, everyday, often over-looked beauty, and where better to do that than the Amazon! I would love to learn more about photography, I would be honoured to learn from someone as talented as you! I still hope that one day, I will have the chance (and the funds) to go to a photography school. I still have so much to learn and I can't wait to learn more.
