    For a foreign eye, everything is source of wonder here. We don't even realize that it's simply everyday life for them... Views[220] I've seen this girl jumping on the boat yesterday, I recognized her from the shiny fabric covering her hairs. In 5th class, they sleep wherever they can among the marchandise that is being brought up the river. But the smile never leaves their faces... Views[225] During the day, on the deck, an old man reads the coran surrounded by bags... The spiritual involvment here is just so much stronger than what I've experienced elsewhere... Views[288] On this cargo boat, there is as much food going up the Niger towards the inaccesible city that there is people dreaming about it... they all take the same little path to get on the boat... Views[221] There is not much light on the boat, but when it hits a face in the dark, it reveals stories that are beyond my comprehension... my mind wanders already... Views[170]
