My Scholarship entry - Killarney's Shifting Landscape

I attached that quote to the refrigerator in every kitchen of every home I have ever lived in since I graduated from Boston College fifteen years ago. It has never been more apt than in the last twenty months as I transition from Chief Financial Officer, Public Accounting Firm to Outdoor Adventure Professional, Independent Business Owner.

My passion is for sharing stories about the Canadian wilderness with a "how-to" bend to them. My goal is for everyone to have access to the information they need to plan their own grand and responsible adventure. From coast to coast (to coast - can't forget about the Arctic Ocean), my adopted country is stunning and worth exploring. My hope is for people from all over to fall in love with Canada and want to protect it for all to enjoy.

I am only a few months in to getting my idea off the ground and I know solid photography would go a long way to achieving my dreams. While Peru may seem like an odd choice for someone like me, I do love to travel and experience culture elsewhere and I can fully appreciate the value of Jason's mentorship to improving my photography.
