    At the end of the day, it's time to milk the yaks, their most valuable possession. The kids collect them around the near valleys as the olders take the milk. In the photos are Baba, Nyima and Mother. Views[1504] In the warm summer days, the life of the family takes place mostly outside. Their yak wool tents are only meant to use for cooking, eating and sleeping.Their home is the whole mountain. In the photo are Ganze, Mother and little Chesa. Views[853] The quiteness in the endless green valleys around Litang, spotted by herd of yaks on the hills, is only broken by a summer storm. Views[828] The men, but specially the khampa women leave behind their humble nomad daily clothing and dress up with their best garments and jewelry, not to mention their spectacular hairstyle. Views[1781] Every summer the Litang Horse Festival takes place in the prairies around this little town west Sichuan -China- at 4000m above see level. All the Khampas from Sichuan and Tibet get togheter to trade, celebrate their culture and ride their horses in races. Views[1753]
